Try it out
Try Markscanner on your own quiz.
Send us your next test and we’ll grade it for you. Free, no account, results back in a couple of days. The point isn’t a sales pitch — it’s to let you see exactly what Markscanner produces, on materials you actually use.
What I need from you
Three things to send
A blank copy of the test
A PDF, a scan, or clear photos. Just the test, no answers filled in.
Why So Markscanner can read the questions and set up the rubric the way it would for any teacher.
The answer key
A version of the test with the correct answers and full marks shown. Your typed solutions work, or a fresh copy you wrote the answers on by hand and photographed.
Why This is what tells the AI what 'right' looks like for each question.
Your students' work
Scans or clear photos of the completed papers — up to one class (about 35 students). Each paper should have the student's name visible somewhere on it.
Why These are the papers I'll actually grade. The visible name lets Markscanner's roster-matching feature do its job.
Accepted formats: PDF, JPG, PNG, HEIC (iPhone photos). Don’t worry about perfect scans — well-lit photos of each page work fine.
What you'll get back
Three real outputs
A feedback PDF for each student
One printable sheet per student showing their score, marks per question, and what the AI noticed about their working. Hand them back to students as-is.
A class CSV
A spreadsheet with every student's name, total mark, and per-question marks. Drop it into your gradebook.
A class summary
A short rundown of how the whole class did, including which questions tripped up the most students. Useful for deciding what to reteach.
Everything you’d normally get from Markscanner — on your own quiz — with zero setup.
How to send it
Email us your quiz.
Click the button below and your email client will open with a pre-filled message and a checklist for the three attachments. Hit send. We’ll reply with a confirmation and, if your files are too big for email, a secure upload link you can drop them into.
- We’ll reply within 24–48 hours during the school week. Sometimes a bit longer in busy stretches — we’ll always tell you when to expect results.
- If your class set is too large to email (most are), just send the request first and we’ll send back a secure upload link.
- One class per teacher, up to about 35 papers. (We can talk if you want to send more later.)
How we handle your materials
What happens to what you send
When you send us a sample, here’s exactly what happens to your materials.
- We'll grade your students' work through Markscanner — the same system any teacher would use.
- We'll send you back the per-student feedback PDFs, the class CSV, and the class summary, usually within 24–48 hours.
- Your materials are used only for this demo. We won't train any AI on them. We won't share them. We won't use them for anything else.
- We might use anonymised snippets of the output — student names redacted — to show other interested teachers what Markscanner produces. Only if you explicitly say yes (the checkbox in the email). The default is no, your materials stay between us.
- We'll delete your files within 30 days of sending you the results, unless you ask us to keep them on an account.
- If you want us to delete them sooner, or you change your mind about the demo-sharing checkbox, email us and it's done — same day.
This is a small operation. Your materials go to a real handful of humans, not into a corporate inbox.

The same posture covers your account if you sign up later. See the plain-language trust page or the full privacy policy for the formal version.
Why we offer this
The honest reason
Markscanner is new. The fastest way to show you it works is on a quiz you actually use, not a fake one we made up. And honestly, we learn a lot from every sample — teachers find edge cases we never would. So this isn’t quite as one-sided as it sounds. We get to make the product better; you get a graded class set and a real look at what you’d be signing up for.
Questions
What teachers usually ask
What if my students' handwriting is hard to read?
What if my quiz isn't purely math?
Can I send more than one class?
How long until I get results?
Do I have to sign up afterward?
Can I actually use the graded sheets with my class?
What if I don't have an answer key written up?
